Have drastically lowered the price, as I'm moving overseas and must downsize!
A one-of-a-kind couture wedding gown - dress is 100% silk, embroidered bodice, and faux flowers pouring out of the top of the corset. It's a very lightweight, very flattering, beachy boho romantic dress which, thanks to all of the silk tiers on the skirt, moves and sways with every step. The silk layers on the skirt are a soft organza, the bodice is more of a silk charmeuse. The train is 17" longer than the front of the skirt. the top edge of the center front (at bust) is 50". I'm 5'6" and wore 2" heels
The dress is able to fit a range of body types - and would work for standard misses sizes of 8-10, as it laces up the back and can be adjusted as needed. Dress straps (height of dress) can be adjusted up and down as they feed into the corset lacing on the back. The back is open with lacing (skin shows under the lacing). It's very light weight and comfortable. I don't recommend it for larger cup sizes - perfect for A-C cup. I danced a tango in it and it performed beautifully! Other than the tango, it was not danced in. It was worn for about 5-6 hours for outdoor wedding and outdoor reception and then taken off. It was immediately cleaned and preserved and has only just now been removed from the preservation box to take additional measurements and photographs.
The train has no stains or discolorations. The bottom tier of the train shows some wear in the weave, but only up close, upon inspection. It doesn't show when the dress is on, as there are so many folds and it's very subtle. I tried to take photos of this, but the wear in the fabric weave is so subtle that it doesn't show up in the photos. If it is something that bothers the buyer, they can easily have the bottom tier replaced, as it's an off-white solid silk. Please ask any and all questions prior to purchase as this is a final sale.
